Our Programs

Warm Hearts

This project is for the members of the Multi-Family Foundation. It is designed to inspire our youth and honor and spotlight our seniors.  The youth ask questions focused on gaining insight to the senior’s character and values.  Click the Warm Hearts page link to read the interviews conducted during previous reunions.

Up to (4) Scholarships for family members and (1) reunion host city community member will be awarded each year.  Scholarship recipients may apply each year to receive an award for three (3) additional years to complete a four (4) year degree.  For more information, see the Scholarship Info page.

Coat/Clothing Drive

The Multi-Family Foundation sponsors a national coat drive annually during the month of October.  All types of clean, gently used clothes are collected and donated to local shelters, churches and other organizations.  Sample Donation List & Value Guide

Read to Lead

The Read to Lead Literacy Program is a national program intended to support schools, youth centers and libraries by presenting donated new and used books during the month of February, designated as Black History Month.

The last two programs are easy and convenient ways for family members to connect with their community.  The Multi-Family Foundation can facilitate clothing and book drives across the country.

You could ask for donations from family members and friends.  Arrange a
deadline and drop-off locationContact the agency BEFORE you deliver – this will help avoid any confusion, ensure that the agency can use your donations, they can explain specific requirements and arrange a drop-off time. The agency may be willing to pick up from you.

Share stories about your particular drive. What worked well?  What resources did you use?  How can the process be improved?
